Nationwide Test of Emergency Communications Postponed For Use: Immediately

Re: Wireless Emergency Alert and Emergency Alert System tests

The nationwide test of the Wireless Emergency Alert and the Emergency Alert systems originally scheduled for Thursday September 19 has been postponed until October 3rd to allow the Federal Emergency Management Agency to focus on response and recovery efforts as a result of Hurricane Florence.
